The 2023 ACRNA conference is fast approaching and is the perfect opportunity for those of us who are involved in the management, operation or support of control room operations to come together to talk about their experiences, share lessons, and exchange strategies. To date there are over ninety delegates registered from over thirty organisations. These organisations represent a variety of industries such as transport (road, rail, air), utilities (water, gas, electricity), mining and support services (consultancies) such as design, OHS, etc. Both private and government organisations are represented. This level of interest highlights the desire for greater detail and exposure to control room operations and well as an acceptance that, in order to continually improve, we need to be willing to share our experiences and create an active network.
The Association has provided the platform for the networking and the conference provides the opportunity to share our experiences and develop our networks. We have a great programme of speakers and interactive discussions and there is an opportunity to visit one of many control rooms that have been made available to the Association. The workshop on day two focuses on “High Performance Control Room Operations” which is very topical in today’s world of advancing technology and automation.
It’s not too late to join us at the Gabba in Brisbane and participate in what will be an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and share your experiences.
