Can I post questions and comments?
The Webinar producer invites pre-lodged comments and ideas which may influence the Webinar content and provide insight to the sort of subject matter members hope to discuss. Use the Contact ACRNA form and note the Webinar you are enquiring about.
Webinar participants will have a Chat function available to them during the Webinar to submit comments and questions to the host.
Will I be able to access the talks later?
ACRNA is still learning the best ways to record and post the Webinars. Webinar #1 will be a Pilot from which we will learn much more about producing and presenting the Webinars, how they are will be received by the members, and how the presentation and production can be improved in the future.
In any event, Webinar recordings will be a members' resource available only to ACRNA members.
In early 2020 the ACRNA started planning the first of a series of regional one-day conferences around Australia to provide the opportunity for greater regional participation. The first conference was to be held in Adelaide during May or June. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 travel restrictions and social distancing requirements, it is no longer possible to go ahead with the Adelaide regional conference. Depending on when and how the restrictions are eased, our annual ACRNA conference may also be impacted.
As an alternative to the regional one-day conferences, the ACRNA is developing a series of Webinars to share experiences and knowledge about how these events are impacting the ability of control rooms to deliver their critical services.
Topics to be discussed include contingency planning, resource management, the human impact, the challenges and what does the control room during and after COVID-19 look like.
The ACRNA webinars will provide our members with an opportunity for participation and knowledge sharing.
