ACRNA 2022 Conference Sydney

Registrations are now open for the ACRNA 2022 Conference, Sydney, at the Novotel Brighton Beach on the 6th and 7th of September.

The ACRNA is delighted to have on board Rodney Sciortino, Head of Airspace Services at Airservices Australia, as our conference guest speaker.

We also have commitments from NSW Rural Fire Service, Sydney Airport, Transport for NSW, Viva Energy, Arrow Energy, University of Melbourne and more to come.

The planning of this conference has had its interruptions and while COVID taught us a lot in a very short time about managing change, we thought that the conference theme should focus on developments for the future rather than coping with managing the present.

Fragmenting and disintegrating the control room work force has gone against almost everything we strived to achieve in the physically connected collaborative work spaces. But since March 2020, like most integrated facilities, the control room community has evolved and pivoted to new ways of working, often remotely. It brought new focus to cyber security and comprehensively tested the resilience of our communications and controls. It produced a new lens on control rooms for the future. And it tested humans as they planned, segregated, secured and adapted.

As usual, the conference will include real time site visits to some of Sydney’s most important control rooms.

More news of this flagship event, including the brochure and daily programme, will be posted on the ACRNA website, in the ACRNA monthly newsletters and at the ACRNA LinkedIn Group page. Keep connected through those forums, and register for your place at the table.
