The Australian Control Room Network Association (ACRNA) is pleased to announce that registrations are now officially open for the 2026 ACRNA Conference, taking place in Brisbane on 1–2 September 2026.

This year’s conference theme, Control Room Resilience, brings together control room professionals, operational leaders and industry partners from across Australia and New Zealand to explore the challenges, opportunities and emerging technologies shaping the future of critical operations. The conference continues to build on its reputation as the premier event dedicated to advancing control room best practice, operational excellence and industry collaboration.

Delegates can look forward to an engaging and practical programme featuring:

  • Industry-leading presentations and operational case studies
  • Insights from critical infrastructure operators and industry experts
  • Exclusive site visits to Brisbane control room facilities
  • Valuable networking opportunities with peers from across the control room community
  • A keynote address from Alan Steele, Airservices Australia
  • Guest speaker Matt Hall, former RAAF Wing Commander and Red Bull Air Race World Champion
  • Industry exhibitions and sponsor engagement opportunities
  • Interactive discussions focused on resilience, operational readiness and emerging technologies.

Feature Workshop – Artificial Intelligence in the Control Room

One of the highlights of this year’s programme will be an interactive workshop delivered by the National AI Centre.

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly moving from concept to practical application across critical operations. This highly interactive session will explore how AI can support control room environments, improve decision-making, enhance situational awareness and assist operators in managing increasingly complex operational environments.

The workshop will also address common misconceptions surrounding AI, discuss emerging risks and governance considerations, and provide practical examples of how organisations can adopt AI responsibly and effectively.

Whether you are an AI enthusiast, a cautious observer, or simply curious about what the future may hold, this workshop promises to be one of the most valuable and thought-provoking sessions of the conference.

One Registration Fee – Everything Included

Importantly, the conference registration fee is fully inclusive. Your registration includes:

  • Access to the full two-day conference programme
  • All keynote presentations and technical sessions
  • The National AI Centre workshop
