When one goes shopping, so to speak, for pavement marking tape, one usually looks for material that is strong enough to remain on the road indefinitely, or at least for a projected period of useful life without wearing away, shrinking or otherwise deteriorating. This is understandable for conventional road marking, but there are circumstances where this level of permanence may not be the best solution. For instance, some paths on a highway may be redirected while a section of the concrete is repaired or replaced. This situation necessitates that one use a material that will perform adequately for the duration of the temporary event, and then be removed with relative ease afterwards. Paint would be a poor choice for this function, not only because of its basic inferiority and susceptibility to damage compared to high-grade pavement tape, but also because it would be quite difficult to remove, requiring the use of paint thinner or scraping methods to make sure that no trace of the paint is left behind. One must also consider that many roads use permanent marking tape already to designate lanes, and the tape does not lend itself lightly to being painted over. Neither can more of the same tape be used efficiently, for obvious reasons.

A Primer on Foundation Wizard Dispersive Wave Testing
The Principles
Dispersive wave propagation is the name of an area of science which considers how wave motion in solid materials is affected by the mechanical properties and geometry (i.e., boundaries, discontinuities) of the material. Any strike to the surface of a solid creates a disturbance that propagates throughout the solid as a wave. Ideally, if the velocity of the disturbance is constant and the speed and time required for it to travel up and down a solid could be measured, the physical length of the solid could be calculated as the product of velocity and travel time. A disturbance, or wave, in a solid material with bounded surfaces continuously changes its shape and elongates as time passes and a single speed cannot be determined. This phenomenon is known as dispersion.
Metal Church For Our Congregation
Last year I moved to my current location and started my new life in my new hometown. After a couple of months I started to settle down in my new house, my new routine.
I work as a bookkeeper so it has never been a problem for me to meet new people, however I always preferred to form personal contacts outside work commitments. I go to church every week and it has been an important part of my life since my teens. It is not the first relocation for me so it has been sort of customary for me to establish contacts with the community by way of religion.
Our congregation is not too big, the town is small anyway, so it can only be expected. There are other religions observed, as well, so the tiny Methodist church never was an impressive landmark. In all practicality, it should have been re-built long ago but nobody had the money or the resolution to see it through.
